The ceremonies
Pinning and capping ceremonies
Nursing, medical and maritime programmes pin or cap before they march, often on a different day and in a different hall. That is two ceremonies plus the celebration afterwards, and families routinely only get seats at one of them. All three go on the same invitation with their own dates and RSVPs.
Pinning and capping
Nursing and medical programmes pin before they march. Two ceremonies, often two days, and families frequently only get seats at one of them.
The commencement itself
The march, the conferral and the recessional, with the call time the school gave you rather than the one on the tarpaulin.
The celebration after
Usually the part relatives actually attend, at a restaurant or the house, with its own venue and its own headcount.

Two ceremonies, one invitation
The pinning and the commencement are separate events with separate guest lists, and sending two invitations to overlapping lists is how relatives end up at the wrong hall on the wrong morning. Both sit on the one link, each with its own date, venue, call time and reply.
A third linked event, if the family throws something separate again, is a ₱899 add-on.
Timing
March and April, when everybody graduates at once
Philippine graduations cluster into a few weeks in March and April, which means every family needing an invitation needs it in the same fortnight. Our first draft takes three to five days year round, and rush brings that to 48 hours for ₱999. Booking either early is the whole trick.
Six weeks out
Comfortable. Three to five days for the draft, then revisions without anyone hurrying.
Two weeks out
Still fine. The draft lands inside a week and there is time for two rounds of changes.
Days out
Take the ₱999 rush. First draft in 48 hours, and we will tell you honestly if the date is not achievable.
We are not going to invent a deadline to hurry you. The constraint is real and it is the calendar, not us: a school that confirms its ceremony date three weeks out leaves everybody in the same position, and rush exists for that rather than as a surcharge on being late.
Start the graduation invitation
The awkward part
Who gets invited, and how many seats the school allows
Schools hand out two to four seats per graduate and that number is fixed, while the list of relatives who want to be there is not. The invitation carries the allocation in writing and the RSVP counts hall seats separately from celebration seats, so you know the split before the morning itself.
- 01The school allots the seatsTwo or four per graduate is common, and the number is not negotiable.
- 02The family list is longer than thatWhich means somebody has to be told they are coming to the dinner and not the hall.
- 03The invitation can say bothCeremony details for the people with seats, celebration details for everyone.
- 04And the RSVP counts them separatelySo you know who is at the hall and who is at the restaurant before the day.
Saying it on the invitation is kinder than saying it in a group chat. “The hall allows four seats per graduate, and everyone is welcome at dinner from six” is a sentence that settles the question once, in writing, for everybody at the same time.
Afterwards
The photos, which are the actual point
Nobody in the family gets a good photo of the march, because the graduate is a hundred metres away and everyone else is standing. Between them, though, the relatives get everything. Guests upload from their phones and you download the lot as one file at original resolution, with no cap on how many.
Both halls, plus the dinner
Uploads are tagged to the event they came from, so the pinning photos do not end up mixed into the commencement ones.
Greetings from the ones who could not come
Relatives abroad leave a message on the invitation, which for an OFW family is usually the point of having one.
One download, full resolution
Any time within 90 days, or a full year for a ₱499 add-on.
There is a working graduation invitation you can open and click through end to end: Patricia's nursing graduation, with the pinning and the lamp lighting on the programme, the two-ticket rule stated where nobody can miss it, and a working RSVP. It sits with the rest on the sample designs page. If the celebration afterwards is really the whole event, then party invitations may suit you better.
Sample designs
Open Patricia's graduation invitation
Patricia’s nursing graduation is a complete sample invitation you can open and use. Reply to the RSVP, read the run of the morning, find the pavilion on the embedded map. It is set at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion for May 2027 in navy, gold and stone, designed by our studio rather than taken from client work.
Nothing you press is saved, so reply as a guest and see how it behaves. Yours will not look like Patricia’s. It was designed from scratch for the ceremony it describes, and yours gets the same, drawn from your own morning.
Look at the programme and the seat rule. The pinning and the lamp lighting are on it as separate items, because families genuinely arrive for the wrong one, and the two-ticket limit is stated where nobody can claim they missed it. All nine samples sit on the sample designs page.
Getting started
What we need from you
Six things, and the form asks for all of them in about two minutes. The graduate and the programme, the ceremony date and venue, any pinning or capping, the celebration afterwards, how many seats the school gave you, and a photo or two of the graduate.
- The graduate and the programme
- Full name, the degree or the year level, and the school
- Ceremony date, time and venue
- The call time from the school, not the start time on the notice
- Pinning or capping, if there is one
- Its own date and venue. We put both on the one invitation
- The celebration afterwards
- Where it is, when it starts, and who is invited to it
- How many seats you were given
- So the RSVP can count hall seats and dinner seats separately
- Photos of the graduate
- For the cover. A toga shot if you have one, or anything recent
If the school has not confirmed the date yet, send everything else and we will start on the design. Dates are a free change at any point, including after the invitation is live.
Two minutes on the form. Nothing to pay until we have spoken.

Questions
Asked before booking
What it costs, whether we handle pinning ceremonies, how fast we can move in March, and how to deal with the seat allocation. Short answers below, and anything else can go on the call.
How much is a graduation invitation?
Ours is ₱1,499, which covers the ceremony, the pinning if there is one, and the celebration afterwards on a single link. There is no cap on guests or photos. One payment, nothing recurring, settled by GCash or bank transfer.
Do you design pinning and capping ceremony invitations?
Yes, and they sit on the same invitation as the graduation rather than needing a second one. Nursing and medical programmes usually pin on a different day from the march, so the invitation carries both dates, both venues and a separate RSVP for each.
How fast can you turn one around in March?
First draft in three to five days, the same as any other month. If your ceremony date landed on you late, rush is a ₱999 add-on and brings the first draft to 48 hours. March and April are our busiest weeks, so booking the rush early is worth it.
Can we limit how many seats each family claims?
The RSVP asks for a seat count and shows you the running total, so you can see immediately when the allocation is spent. Schools usually give two to four seats per graduate, and the invitation can carry that number in writing so nobody assumes otherwise.
Do guests need an app to reply?
No. They tap the link and it opens in the browser already on their phone. We ask for a name so you know who replied, and nothing else. Lolos and lolas manage it, and the invitation stays live for 12 months afterwards.
Why is a graduation invitation more than a christening one?
Because there is more of it to make. A graduation carries the commencement, often a pinning on a separate date, and the celebration afterwards, each with its own venue and reply. A christening has one rite and a reception, so it is ₱999 against ₱1,499.
