Christening invitations for a Filipino binyag
We design the invitation, name every ninong and ninang however many there are, and put the church and the reception on one private link with their own map pins, so the day runs the way you planned it instead of the way the group chat decides. ₱999, with the first draft ready in three to five days.

Ninong and ninang
Listing ninong and ninang when there are twenty-four of them
A Filipino christening routinely has twenty or more godparents, and no invitation template is built for that. A card gives you a line and a half. We give the list its own section, grouped as ninong and ninang, with room for every name and no layout that breaks at the thirtieth one.
This is the single most common reason families come to us for a binyag.
However many there are
Twenty is common and forty happens. Every name goes on, grouped as ninong and ninang, because being asked to stand is not a small thing, and the layout does not fall apart at the thirtieth.
Added right up to the day
Somebody always asks to stand a week before. That is a message to us and a free change, not a reprint of a hundred cards.
Grouped how you want them
By side of the family, by principal and secondary, or simply alphabetically. Whatever the family has already agreed on.
And told what they need to know
Where to stand, what time to be at the church, and whether they are expected to say anything.
The day
Church first, then the reception
A binyag happens in two places, and the second one is where guests get lost. The invitation carries the parish and the reception venue separately, each with its own address, map pin and call time, plus how long the rite runs so anyone with a toddler can plan around it.

What the invitation walks guests through
- The church
- Parish name, the address, a map pin, and the call time before the rite
- The rite itself
- Roughly how long it runs, so guests with toddlers can plan
- Photos afterwards
- Where the family gathers, which is always the confusing part
- The reception
- Its own venue, its own map pin, and the time to be there
- What to wear
- White for the baby, and whatever you are asking of everyone else
- Gifts, if you mention them
- Phrased however you would say it out loud
The words
Binyag, baptism, christening: one day, three words
All three describe the same rite, and which one a family uses is habit rather than doctrine. Tell us the word you would say out loud and that is the word on the invitation. We will not put “christening” on it if your family has called it a binyag for four generations.
Written in your words
Including the baby's full name as it will be recorded, and the parish spelled the way the parish spells it.
Every reply by name
Guests reply on the invitation with a seat count, so you have a headcount for the reception instead of a chat thread to count.
One invitation, two occasions
A binyag held with a first birthday is one invitation. On separate days, a second linked event is a ₱899 add-on.
Planning the first birthday as its own party? Digital birthday invitations covers that. Still expecting rather than christening? Baby shower invitations is the page you want.
Afterwards
The only record the baby will have of it
A christening is the one celebration the guest of honour will not remember, which is exactly why the record of it matters. Guests upload from their phones on the day and you download all of it at original resolution, with no cap on how many, any time in the 90 days afterwards. One day the child in those photos will want to see who was there.
- 01
Guests upload from their phones during the day, from the same link they replied on.
- 02
Relatives abroad leave a message on the well wishes wall instead of the group chat.
- 03
Everything arrives at the resolution it was shot at, not a messaging-app copy.
- 04
Download the lot as one file, any time in the 90 days after the binyag.
There is a working christening invitation you can open and click through end to end: Elena Marie's binyag, with the ninong and ninang list, the church on an embedded map and a working RSVP. It sits with the rest on the sample designs page. It was designed by our studio for an invented family rather than taken from a past client.

Open Elena Marie's christening invitation
Elena Marie’s binyag is a complete sample invitation you can open and use. Reply to the RSVP, read the ninong and ninang list, find the church on the embedded map. It is a Saturday morning rite at the Santuario de San Antonio set for March 2027 in ivory, sage and antique gold, designed by our studio rather than taken from client work.
Nothing you press is saved, so reply as a guest and see how it behaves. Yours will not look like Elena’s. It was designed from scratch for the family it describes, and yours gets the same, drawn from your own.
The godparents page is the part worth opening. On most christening invitations the ninong and ninang are read off someone’s phone at the font; here they are named, in order, with the time they need to be standing there. All nine samples sit on the sample designs page.

Questions
Asked before booking
What it costs, whether the whole godparent list fits, whether binyag and christening are different, and whether one invitation can carry the church and the reception both.
How much does a christening invitation cost in the Philippines?
Ours is ₱999 and it covers the whole invitation, with no cap on guests or photos. One payment, nothing recurring, settled by GCash or bank transfer. A christening held together with a first birthday is the same price and the same single invitation.
Why does a christening invitation cost less than a wedding one?
Because there is less of it to build. A binyag has one rite and a reception, where a wedding carries an entourage, principal sponsors, a two-venue evening and a full programme. The RSVP, the well wishes wall and the guest photo collection are the same on both, and neither has a guest cap.
Can you list all the ninong and ninang?
Yes, however many there are. Twenty is common in Filipino families and we have laid out more. They are grouped as ninong and ninang, or by side of the family if you prefer, and adding a late one after the invitation is live is free and takes minutes.
Is a binyag invitation different from a christening invitation?
No, they are the same day and the same invitation. Binyag, baptism and christening all describe the rite, and which word you use is a matter of family habit rather than anything we design around. Tell us which one to put on it and that is the one we use.
Can the invitation cover both the church and the reception?
Yes, both sit on the one link with separate addresses, separate map pins and separate call times. Guests who only come to the reception see where to be without working it out from the church details, which is the part that usually goes wrong in a group chat.
