What a digital wedding invitation cost looks like in the Philippines

A digital wedding invitation cost in the Philippines runs from about PHP 500 to about PHP 8,000, and the spread is that wide because the phrase covers two different things. At the bottom you are buying one image. At the top you are buying a hosted page that takes replies and collects the photographs. Both are legitimate; they are just not comparable.

The four price bands, and what sits in each

Roughly four. Under PHP 1,000 buys a single image from a freelancer. PHP 1,000 to 2,500 buys an image set, sometimes animated. PHP 2,500 to 5,000 buys a hosted page with a reply on it. Above PHP 5,000 buys the same with the entourage, two venues and the photograph collection handled.

For reference, ours is ₱4,999 for a wedding of up to 400 guests, which sits at the bottom of that top band. Every occasion we price is on one page if you want to see the rest.

Why a wedding costs more than a binyag

Because there is more of it to lay out. A wedding carries an entourage, principal sponsors, a ceremony-to-reception flow, an attire palette and a full programme. A binyag carries one rite and a lunch afterwards. The design work follows the day, which is why the occasion sets the price and the guest count mostly does not.

This catches people out, because the instinct is that four hundred guests must cost more than forty. On a printed invitation it does, because you are buying four hundred cards. On a page you are buying the page, and it does not get harder to draw because more people open it.

Guest count only re-enters at the top. Past 400 guests the volume of replies becomes real work on somebody's side, which is where a list price honestly turns into a quote.

The line items worth paying for

Three: a reply that counts seats rather than yeses, a link that can be corrected once for everybody, and somewhere the guest photographs land. Those are the three things you cannot add later with a bit of effort, and they are the three that a cheap image quote silently leaves out.

Seat counts, not headcounts
One reply covering a household of four is the difference between a number your caterer accepts and a guess.
One link, always current
When the call time moves, nobody has to send a correction and hope the right version is the one people kept.
The photographs, collected
Every table's camera in one download, rather than asking forty people to send you their camera roll in June.
Revisions in writing
Ask how many rounds are included and what counts as one. Two rounds and free typo fixes is a fair standard.

The costs people forget to ask about

Four questions decide whether a cheap quote stays cheap: is hosting included and for how long, is there a monthly fee, what happens to the photographs afterwards, and does a change after it goes live cost anything. A PHP 2,000 invitation with a monthly fee is not a PHP 2,000 invitation.

Our answers, so you have a baseline

One payment per event, nothing recurring. The link stays up for 12 months and the photographs stay downloadable for 90 days, or a year for ₱499. Typos and detail changes are free, before and after it goes live.

Would you rather hand it over?

We design the invitation, host it on one private link and gather the replies, the messages and every photo your guests take. From ₱999, with your first draft in three to five days.

When the free route is the right one

When your guest list is short enough to count in your head, the venue is somewhere everyone has been, and nothing about the day is likely to move. Canva for the design and a Google Form for the replies costs nothing but a couple of evenings, and for that wedding it is genuinely the better answer.

We would rather say that plainly than talk somebody into a page they do not need. The guide on making your own goes through the whole process, including the ten details to gather first and where each free tool stops being enough.

The point at which it stops working is usually the headcount. Once you need a number you can hand a caterer, with names and seats behind it, an evening of your own labour stops being cheaper than paying somebody.

Asked about this

How much does a digital wedding invitation cost in the Philippines?

Between about PHP 500 for a single image and about PHP 8,000 for a hosted page that takes replies and collects guest photographs. Ours is ₱4,999 for a wedding of up to 400 guests, with the first draft in three to five days.

Is a digital invitation cheaper than a printed one?

Almost always, and the gap widens with the guest list. Printing is priced per card, so three hundred guests means three hundred cards plus envelopes and delivery. A page is priced once, whether forty people open it or four hundred.

Why do some suppliers charge per guest?

Usually because they are reselling a platform that charges them per guest. It is worth asking, because a per-guest price on a Filipino guest list gets expensive quickly and the number is rarely final until the last tita has been added.

Does a more expensive invitation mean a more custom design?

Not necessarily, and it is worth asking directly. On ours every invitation is drawn from scratch at every price, and what moves the number is how much of the day there is to lay out rather than how bespoke the artwork is.

Should I pay a deposit before seeing a draft?

A deposit after a conversation is normal; a deposit before anyone has spoken to you is worth questioning. Ours is fifty percent after the call once the price is agreed, and the balance before the invitation goes live.

Tell us about the day

Send the occasion, the date and a rough headcount. It takes about two minutes, and nothing is due until we have spoken. We come back the same day with a time to talk it through, and then we start drawing.
